Then click on the Save Changes button at the bottom

Now to force your website to load up as HTTPS:// by default, you can do it two ways

Plugin Method

You can install a plugin called Really Simple SSL. This plugin will force your site to load up using SSL/HTTPS://.

There are other options you can use to configure, but by default this will cover it.

Manual Method

If you don’t want to use a plugin, you can also do it manually by adding some code to your .htaccess file.

Add the following line to .htaccess

RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{HTTPS} off
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [L,R=301]

Refresh your site, and it will load up using HTTPS://

If you get errors, be sure you have your SSL certificate installed.
